Wrecked Wrens
is a band of seasoned players bored with convention & with not a lot to lose. They play a potent blend of spiky new wave & punky alt-rock without the jagged edges sanded off. CMSB is grateful to have such a talented group in our lineup!
doomsday cooler
is a band created specifically for this event because of a love of the CMSB mission (and of its Director of Outreach). None of these rock stars have played out since the pandemic, so they come to get down! they are connected to the museum because John Veit is the big brother of Shannon Garvey, our Director of Outreach!
StarHeart
consists of longtime siblings Jess & Jake, pairing up to create original harmonious Progressive Americana music. Jake & his beautiful family are museum members & frequent attendees. Jake occasionally performs live kids’ music at the museum! Kids love it, but moms sing more…
Sub-adult animal ball
Conceived in the time of Aries, a loose basement collective emerges into the light. SAAB is a four piece playing cosmic American sounds, and travels somewhere between the lo-fi stylings of Guided by Voices and the brogan cacophony of King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. Mark Golitko is the dad of Finn, upon whose legacy our museum is built to inspire “infinite wonder.”
Hustle Crowe
brings together some of the finest musicians in the region - an all-star instrumental group that breathes new life into the original compositions of Neil Carmichael through dynamic, collaborative improvisation. We feel so lucky to have them here!
rain downtown
is a see-what-sticks acoustic side project for several lifetime musicians. They are a group of brothers & brothers-in-law, connected to the museum by James, who has been Joe Garvey’s best friend for most of his life.
